This week, Maluma surprised one of his youngest fans, named Bastian, with a new home in Colombia. “Dreams come true, welcome to your new home Bastian,” the Colombian singer shared on Instagram. Bastian is a cancer patient who has been a fan of Maluma for quite some time now, according to La Opinion. “I will say a few words. Fight for your dreams, dreams come true. Don’t stop fighting. They take time, but they are coming,” Bastian said in the short clip.
J Balvin’s New Kicks
J Balvin showed off his new collaboration with Nike this week, showing off a pair of sky blue Jumpman shoes that light up. “Jumping is the first step to flying. Another for culture. Latin gang,” the Colombian artist shared on Instagram. A short video teaser showed Balvin rocking his new sneaker collaboration. “Follow your light. Take care of your mind. Jump for your dreams,” he said in the clip.
Ancient Billboard Latin Power Player AJ “Kallejero” Ramos has announced his new project “Godfidence”, which is meant to inspire his family, friends and followers. “Godfidence” is a five-day devotional available on the YouVersion Bible app. “I’ve been working on it for several months,” he said on Instagram. “Connect mental health to spirituality and align it with the word of God. Self-Discipline + Self-Love + Vulnerability + Surrender = Godfidence.
Hollywood walk of fame
To celebrate their 50-year career, regional Mexican band Los Huracanes del Norte received their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 7. Father and son, Heraclio and Roberto García took the podium to accept on behalf of the group and gave a heartfelt speech. “To be honest, I don’t even know where to start,” Heraclio said. “Today a dream comes true. We have always strived to do meaningful things in life, but this recognition is special because it will last forever. Our children and grandchildren can come here and say, ‘Look, this is the star of my father or my grandfather”. Thank you all for being there, it is a day that we will never forget.
