Fyears of Colombian singer J Balvin will soon be able to represent the “Prince of Reggaeton” this summer thanks to its new collaboration with Air Jordan. The 37-year-old artist teased social media with a look at the late 2021 sneakers, but we finally have some leaked photos of the finished product.

Instagram accounts @zsneakerheadz and @solebyjc blessed their followers with images of the sneaker. “FIRST LOOK at the #JBalvin x Jordan 2 SP 2022 👀👀 Any thoughts on that?! — Featuring built-in LED lighting,” the first wrote. And according to @solebyjc, the shoes are slated for release in fall 2022.

The sneakers will play the gray and sky blue colors against each other based on the photos, and there are clouds detailing parts of the shoes. Balvin’s famous smiley face logo sits on the fox, and the inside of the tongue features a single lightning bolt accompanied by a smile. The standard Air Jordan badge is featured on the outside of the tongue and the word “NIKE” is stitched on the upper heel. And for the finishing touch, the Air Jordan logo and soles can light up in the dark.

Last year, Balvin provided two separate uploads of the collaboration on his IG page. “A⚡️R BALVIN + LIGHTS + LED + NEW WORLD + VISION + REVOLUTION SOON… LATINO GANG – GLOBAL @jumpman23 PRESS THE BUTTON AND THE LIGHTS TURN ON!! APRETA EL BOTÓN Y SE TAKE LA LUZ,” his post read of November.

In December 2020, J Balvin released his previous collaboration, the Air Jordan 1 High “Colores Y Vibras”. The sneakers retailed for $190, so you can expect them to sell for around the same price. Look for the JBalvin x Jordan 2 to most likely arrive on SNKRS shelves and app in October of this year.
