A new sneaker collaboration between Jordan Brand and J Balvin is coming soon.

The reggaeton megastar gave fans a first look at her Air Jordan 2 collaboration on Instagram yesterday and just like the duo’s inaugural collaboration with Jordan 1 last year, this upcoming pair will feature some vivid details.

Images of the sneaker shared by J Balvin show that the upper features a new padded design on both the side layered panels as well as the ankle collar. The remarkable detail of the collaboration can be seen with the glow-in-the-dark “Wings” logo on the tongue and on the outsole of the shoe. The second image in the post shows three different sizes of the shoe, hinting that the collaboration will be available in sizes for the whole family.

In addition to the teaser images, J Balvin also captioned the Instagram post with ‘A⚡️R BALVIN + LIGHTS + LED + NEW WORLD + VISION + REVOLUTION COMING SOON… LATINO GANG – GLOBAL @ jumpman23 PRESS THE BUTTON AND THE LIGHTS S’ TURN ON !! APRETA EL BOTÓN TAKES THE LUZ #JOSE. ”

While a first look at the J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 collaboration has been revealed, details of the shoe’s release have not been shared by the artist or the brand.

In the news related to Air Jordan, Virgil Abloh and his fashion brand Off-White are launching two new Air Jordan 2 collaborations this Friday. The style will be available in ‘Varsity Red’ and ‘Varsity Royal’ makeup and will be released via Nike SNKRS application and at Jordan Brand retailers for $ 250 each.
