5-month-old Bindi Irwin and Grace Warrior are ready for the Spring Sunshine Down Under in a new selfie that gives us some really cool vibes.
Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell shared a photo of the adorable mother-daughter pair on Instagram on Tuesday, writing, âMy daughters sent me this photo while I was in a meeting at the zoo. It absolutely made my day and I hope it made yours too. These two have always made me smile. In the image, Bindi is carrying her daughter in a baby carrier and the two are wearing sunglasses while playfully sticking out their tongues.
âIt’s a vibe,â Bindi replied in the comments. ‘We love you so much.’
Bindi and Powell welcomed baby Grace Warrior Irwin Powell in March and fans can’t seem to get enough of the behind-the-scenes photos of the sweet family. Her parents’ IG feeds are packed with adorable moments featuring Grace living her best life at the zoo and exploring the legacy of her late grandfather, famous wildlife advocate Steve Irwin.
The adorable 5-month-old even has an exhibit named in her honor: Grace’s Brid Garden, which opened to the public in June. “It’s such a beautiful and tranquil bird habitat that you are sure to feel the zen,” Grandmother Terri Irwin wrote in a caption on the Australia Zoo’s Instagram page to announce the opening. âGrace certainly is! With nearly 180 birds to share your day, you will discover different birds on every visit!
Bindi and Powell intend to pass the family’s love for conservation on to Baby Grace. âAll we’re doing is creating positive change on the planet and protecting as many beautiful animal species as possible,â Bindi told The Bump in February. âI am so excited that our daughter is growing up learning the importance of giving back and making a difference in the world for future generations. My family started this work over 50 years ago and I have always been grateful that they included me and my brother every step of the way.
