Reverse color blocking has continually offered a steady slate of proposals across Swooshes’ slate of revitalized silhouettes that have ties to the 2000s ‘Team Tones’ collection. Nike Dunk Low, the Beaverton-based brand continuing to return to the model’s wildly popular team-ready builds of decades past.
Reversing the tonal placement of its 2001 “Brazil” version, the green and yellow colors synonymous with South American countries are used in the latest Dunk Low, locking in its grip on the smooth leather panels of the upper. Electing its base layer and sock liner to be filled with the titular “Pine Green” hue, these latest embellishments, including the aforementioned Swoosh, laces and raised overlays, deliver the contrasting “Varsity Maize” hue. “. Sitting on a white midsole and matching green tread, the “NIKE” branded heel and tongue tabs finish matching the former tone amid bright yellow backgrounds.
