Although the Nike VaporMax Plus has been on the market since January 2018, the silhouette continues to play a pivotal role for the brand, going so far as to land at number three on the “Top 10 Selling Sneakers of 2021” list. For its latest entry, the hybrid silhouette appeared with neon green colored soles.
Reminiscent of a mix of previously seen options, the upcoming sneaker features a light gray – almost silver – makeup across much of its upper. TPU overlays inspired by the Nike Air Max Plus in the midfoot provide a glossy finish that gives the pair even more style. Rich blue and bright orange deviate from the understated tone at the collar and heel tab, respectively, while a more subtle shade of the aforementioned citrus hue livens up the tongue labels and buckle. solitary lace on the vamp. However, neither color takes as much “real estate” as the “Volt”-like tone that lands in the whale tail-shaped midfoot and the modified, plump Air Max cushioning solution underfoot.
