Wait what? Popular brand launches limited-edition Ramen sneakers

Japanese cuisine has conquered the world. In 2021, Google recognized it as one of the most searched cuisines in the world. From sushi to gyoza, teppanyaki to matcha – there are so many delicious recipes the kitchen has to offer. Ramen is also a popular recipe in Japanese cuisine that has developed its own fans. A soupy and comforting dish, ramen has a broth topped with wheat noodles, vegetables, meat, and seasonings like miso and soy. Recently, the famous sports brand Reebok launched limited edition sneakers based on the worldwide love for Ramen. Look at the photos and other details:

Reebok Japan has collaborated with Japanese retailer Atmos to release a limited-edition pair of ramen sneakers called the “Baby Star Ramen Reebok Classic Leather Sneakers.” The sneakers have yellow and red details, similar to the popular Baby Star Ramen from Japan. Ramen noodles also feature prominently on the sides as well as the soles of the sneaker’s interesting design.

In the post’s caption, Atmos revealed that Reebok’s “Classic Leather” shoe is a running shoe born in 1983 that has high functionality and is also extremely fashionable. “Based on CLASSIC LEATHER, this product uses suede and textured leather for the upper. The color is reminiscent of the packaging of Baby Star Ramen,” the caption read. In another cool twist, Reebok changed their logo to “Ramen” for this limited-edition sneaker. Currently, these sneakers are only available in Japan through an online lottery system from August 29 to September 2. They can also be purchased online at the Atmos store starting September 3. The price of these ramen sneakers is 13,200 yen or rupees. 7,690/- approx.
