Jordan Brand collaborates with the football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). In recent years, the football club and the Nike Inc. brand have been frequent collaborators. Each of the collaborators is at the top of their industry and they have worked on silhouettes such as AJ7 before and now AJ5.
In continuation of the collaboration launched previously, Clot x Air Jordan 5 Low now dresses with a Parisian touch. Collaborative shoes are part of the football club and part of Jordan’s fall collection. According to media outlets Hypebeast and Sneakernews, the shoes are set to launch on Saturday, September 3, 2022 on SNKRS. However, an official announcement has yet to be made.

Paris Saint-Germain are one of the top clubs in football, with Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi being part of the team, and their unique collaborations with the Jordan brand since 2018. Now continuing their partnership, the duo release a PSG x Air Jordan 5 Low makeover.
The next Air Jordan 5 The low-top sneakers are dressed in the Pumice colourway, with a predominantly tone-on-tone upper. The first look of the shoes was revealed by sneaker leaks page, @solebyjc on May 2, 2022, and revealed that the color scheme will be used for Fall 2022. The color scheme is a nod to the football club’s 2022/23 summer season. kits.
The sneakers come dressed in a Pumice/Game Royal/Black/Plum/Eclipse/Bright Crimson colorway. Pumice covers the tonal upper, accented with collaborative detailing.
The upper is crafted from premium smooth leather, with a translucent glazed mesh. The shoes appear standard in terms of construction, however, we see a unique success of the Paname treatment, which is seen on the tricolor flaps, sitting right next to the translucent mesh.
The overall Pumice stem is accentuated by the hits of Black and Game Royal. Black hits are seen on the midsole and tongues. Tongue tags feature the usual iconic Jumpman logo, dressed in a Game Royal accent. Bright red and crimson color hits the laces.
More hits of crimson/bright red are seen on the trainers, with the red wax stamp visible on the heels and the PSG team colours. Further nods to the Paris Saint-Germain team are given with the team logo debossed on the translucent heel outsole and red wax seals.
The PSG logo features on the French flag, which features an ornate “paname” lettering, which is a nickname for the city and a nod to the French flag. The inside of the tongues has an inscription “ICI C’EST PARIS”. Other nods to the French flag can be seen on the aglets.
The shoes feature a black midsole, which features a brown concrete-hued flame print. The frosted outsole, adorned with the PSG logo, completes the look. The shoes come with special custom packaging as well as matching apparel, which has yet to be revealed.
The shoes are set to launch at SNKRS and select retailers on September 3, 2022 for a retail price of $200.
